Michael Tang – Dentist
Michael, a member of Mensa, graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 and in the same year published research papers on Oral MRSA in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and the British Dental Journal. He gained his MFGDP post graduate qualification from the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2007.
His interest in dental implantology stemmed from a course held in Harley Street in 2005. In the same year he decided to complete an intensive implantology course in the influential Medical Faculty in Boston, USA. In December 2012 he was awarded with a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dental Implantology from the Postgraduate Dental Institute at the University of Central Lancashire. In 2013, he attained the Masters of Science with Merit qualification from the same University.
In June 2013, he attended an dental implant course at Harvard and Tufts University in Boston USA organised by the International Team for Implantology. The main focus of this course was integrating CAD/CAM technology with dental implant treatment making the whole process more comfortable for the patient.
In 2007, Michael was short-listed for the prestigious “Best Young Dentist in Scotland” award for his achievements in dentistry.
