Cancelling Appointments

Enhance Dental Care have a cancellation policy to ensure smooth booking of appointments and to enable for our time to be used efficiently. We ask you give a minimum of 24 hours notice. This is to enable us to re fill the now vacant slot and offer the appointment to someone else. We are aware that unforeseen events can mean missing an appointment. If you miss a second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a fee dependent on the length of your appointment.

Emergency Treatment

We are a caring practice. We aim to offer same day appointments to patients in pain or with a dental emergency.

Out of hours emergency advice can be obtained by calling the practice on 01355 230044 and listening to the recorded message.

We will always endeavour to ensure you are completely satisfied with the care you receive. However, if you have any concerns regarding your dental care then please raise them in the first instance with your dentist.

We also have a dedicated complaints manager and a dedicated complaints procedure. The complaints manager will provide an effective, efficient and understanding way for you to have your complaints addressed.

Your complaint will be acknowledged in writing within 3 working days and you will be provided with a copy of our complaints procedure. We will offer you an opportunity to discuss your concerns and agree a plan of action including timescales for dealing with your concerns. Your complaint will be thoroughly investigated and we will contact you in writing within 10 working days.

Following our formal complaints procedure should you still have concerns, NHS patients can contact the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman or private patient can contact the Dental complaints service.
